Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy of “service to humanity is service to God” is rooted in the idea that all human beings are manifestations of the divine. He believed that serving others, especially the poor and downtrodden, is a way to worship God. This principle is a core tenet of his teachings and is encapsulated in the Sanskrit phrase “Jiva is Shiva,” meaning each soul is potentially divine. Anita Bose’s life is inspired by Swami Vivekananda & Ramakrishna ideologies (Bhabdhara). Her goal in life is to serve humanity, embodying the principle that service to others is service to God. By helping and uplifting those in need. She aims to recognize and honor the divine presence within every individual.
As a devout follower of Swami Vivekananda’s principles, Anita Bose is dedicated to helping underprivileged women and children in various parts of India and Thailand. Through the Ramakrishna Mission, Thanksgiving Home, and Chatra Kalyan Samsthan, she provides them with livelihoods through handicrafts and art.
In addition to these social services, she passionately arranges various art therapy workshops abroad, bringing the traditional art and culture of India to people in different countries. Through these workshops, she aims to impart a different meaning of life, fostering positivity among participants. She has worked with people of all ages, from 7 to 75 years, helping them find confidence, peace, empowerment, and more.

One of India’s national news channels, Doordarshan Bangla (DD Bangla), recognized her efforts and featured her in an episode of a Bengali language programe, Betikromi. The literal meaning of the word ‘Betikromi’ is ‘Exceptional’. The program was aired in December 2014 through two episodes.
